$789 Billion Pork Plate Ready to Be Served to Obama

Well you get what you asked for. The good people of the United States asked for this $789 billion lard rolled pork pie. You voted for these people. You voted for a President that decided to allow Comrade Pelosi govern and create this spending bill. When has a President ever done that? Obama had no role in writing this bill.

You voted for people that spends money it doesn’t have a creates a debt burden on future generations that will be tough to recover from. It’s time people start paying attention to the clowns they are allowing to run (ruin) this country.

I guess you can be happy that you can benefit in the all the pork that was slopped on the package. You may not have a job or a house but you can be sure the extra $13 a week will sure entice one to go for that sales tax break to buy a new car. $13. Really?

Am I supposed to be happy they “fixed” the Alternative Minimum Tax for middle income? They should have fixed that shit long ago. But you know, it brought in too much money to the Treasury. Millions of low-income workers who don’t make enough money to pay income taxes will get (welfare) checks from the government when they file their 2009 tax returns.

About 30% of the money will be spent in 2010 and 2011. How in the hell is that supposed to stimulate what is happening now? By then the economy could very well have turned around. No, those items are pure pork. The Democrats shoved every pet project they could into this spending bill.

The Republicans are taking to whining about be left out of the process. They weren’t able to offer alternate bills, the were left out of conference meeting, etc. They are screaming that the process is not bipartisan. Well, hell, I’m sure they treated the Democrats with equal disrespect in the last 8 years as well. We haven’t had bipartisonship in this country in decades.

None of the clowns in DC think about anything but their re-election. Think the Democratic leadership is thinking what’s good for anybody but their liberal friends and voters? Over 50% of the country do not support the spending plan. Think there was any bipartisan thinking about what was good for the other half of the country?

Ever since the Bush failure I had always known that the Democrats would come into power. I also firmly believe that they will screw up as bad, if not worse, in the coming years, and find themselves booted out with ferocity. The Democrats mistake will be to let the far left leaners of their party to drive policy which the other 85% of this country have no interest in. There are plenty of Democrats that do not believe in a Socialist agenda.

This spending bill will not provide the results we need. The so-called infrastructure spending is only about 5% of the bill, not immediate and is not considered stimulative. They stripped out some of the house and car buying provisions which would be stimulative.

The American people are going to rise up out of this morass despite the government and the pork spending. And Obama is going to rue the day that he decided to let Pelosi and Reid frame his administration with a bad bill.
