Bart Gordon is a Blue Dog With No Bite

Thanks to my Congressman, Bart Gordon, the House was able to strike a deal with Rep. Henry Waxman to get the Health Care plan out of committee and onto the floor for a vote. He was one of four so-called fiscally conservative “blue dogs” that voted for the bill. He also voted no on an amendment to limit abortion services. When elections come around in Nov. 10 I am going to vote no for his re-election. I’m also going to have to take time out of my day and go down to protest at his office or wherever he decides to show up.

This guy is a Congressman from Tennessee and based on his voting record it has been determined that he is as liberal as Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank and Henry Waxman. He’s not fiscally conservative at all. He’s a liberal tax and spend charlatan looking out for himself and his re-election. He proved his vote can be bought with his support of the Cap and Trade bill. Special interests and Nancy Pelosi bought him off with two  solar panel manufacturing plants being built in his district with promises of 4,000 jobs. Wonder how many jobs his district will lose due to that piece of legislation?All the while the country goes further into debt with a widening deficit.

This piece of work has got to go. I will do everything that I can, which is not much given the lack of money and power I have,  to ensure that he will no longer serve my district. Hopefully the people of the 6th district will see this liberal for what he really is. He voted for the stimulus. He voted for Cap and Trade. And now he is assisting the Progressives with their agenda in government takeover of health care. He is part of the problem that, if left to running the government, will bankrupt the country and destroy the freedoms and liberties that we all enjoy.
