The oil spewing from the destroyed rig in the Gulf of Mexico cannot be found. That HAS to be inconvenient to the environmental earth people. Seems nature repairs our mistakes fairly rapidly and far better than the Obama clean-up team. Yahoo asks:

Where is all the oil? Nearly two weeks after BP finally capped the biggest oil spill in U.S. history, the oil slicks that once spread across thousands of miles of the Gulf of Mexico have largely disappeared. Nor has much oil washed up on the sandy beaches and marshes along the Louisiana coast. And the small cleanup army in the Gulf has only managed to skim up a tiny fraction of the millions of gallons of oil spilled in the 100 days since the Deepwater Horizon rig went up in flames.

So where is the harm in drilling? Why the moratorium? I am so sick of the people in control of our government.

Sometimes Sunday news shows are just too excruciating to watch. Take for instance the Chris Wallace show on Fox News. Seeing an asshat like Howard Dean squirm and spin his way through an interview is fun to watch, but it ultimately shows just how dishonest these politicians are. They will never admit to being wrong or admit to something that does not fit their ideology. The truth was terribly inconvenient to the Governor.

The liberal loon from NPR, Maura something or other on the panel, is always tough to listen to. She blasts Republicans for being critical of the high deficits yet they are willing to extend the Bush tax cuts or want even further tax cuts. Like most liberals she finds this inconsistent. This is what absolutely drives me fucking insane. They, meaning the left, act like the money you make is not yours. That it is the government’s money. There would NOT be a deficit or debt if the government did not spend money out of control. There is not a problem with how much they tax but a problem with how much they spend.

Dammit people. We are giving enough money to our government. Let’s stop the stupid spending and get our entitlements under control. And how about abolish the IRS (along with numerous other government agencies which is another story) and find something that works for everyone. Maybe a flat tax is the answer. The Fair Tax. I dunno, but what I do know is I pay enough federal, states and local sales tax and property taxes among other fees and all manner of bullshit. They get plenty from us.

The left is out of control. Dean said that the right is nothing but the party of “NO”. I despise these loons. Of course the right has answers. They have been offering them up everyday in the Congress. But see, those ideas do not fit in the left’s ideology. So if you disagree with the left then you are the party of “NO” when actually the left is the party of “NO” because they will not accept ideas from the opposition.

Idiots. All of them. No wonder Congress has an approval rating approaching single digits. I can’t stand anything that the corrupt left stands for so I am stuck rooting for the corrupt right. At least some in that party understands that the Constitution is worth fighting for. That limited government is what is our founders hoped we would want to keep.

I always thought the liberal hippy types wanted “the man” out of their lives. It seems now that those 60’s radical types only wanted to gain control of the government for themselves. Now they want to tell us what we can and can’t do. The health care and financial reform bills are an affront to your liberty and freedom. People in this country should be storming the streets in opposition. But big government, from the left and right, has enslaved millions upon millions in entitlement programs, various forms of welfare and employment to keep people asking for more from their government. Our Founders warned us of this. Now we are controlled by the statists.

The Tea Party is trying to push back against MASSIVE opposition. All of the statist, big government, liberal, Marxist, socialist apparatus are raining hell down on those that support the Tea Party. They have mostly been unsuccessful so now they play their last card. Yep. The race card. Liberals are complete morons.

I wish blacks would join the movement. Black people are such proud and independent people yet they are still ruled by their Democrat-liberal overlords. I wish they would follow some of the new Tea party types like Herman Cain and others. There are so many good liberty and freedom loving blacks that could be an inspiration to those that suffer the indignities of liberal ideology. But they choose to follow the Marxists, socialists and statists in lock step. 95% of blacks still think Obama is doing a good job. Unbelievable.

This post is just a rambling mess. I fear for my country which is interesting because the statists do not have the same fear. They are loving life and wishing that the government would take over more of their lives. It just kills me.

I am sick and tired of the bullshit spewed by the leftist asshats in media saying the Tea Party is racist. It is false. It is a lie. The freaks on the left are scared out of their minds that they are going to lose huge in November. The only thing they have left to fight with is race politics. Their policies are utter crap and the people of the this country are getting sick of the dismantling of the freedoms and liberties by the statists. The left continues to trot out these complete falsehoods like every Tea Party rally is filled with bigoted signs. Where? Show me 5 that is racist or biggoted. Show me more than one at a single rally. They say there are guns being brought to the rallies. Really? Where? And if they are then the people carrying them have a permit to carry. Oh and they keep bringing up that the black caucus got spit at during the health care debacle. No evidence has been brought to support that.

So some dipshit put up an unfortunate billboard with Hitler, Obama and Lenin on it. That was a bad decision. One which the context of the message was completely ignored. The owner took it down the next day and said he was wrong to put it up.

This is completely ridiculous. The leftists are embarrassing. They are totally mis-characterizing the Tea Party people. If they had any honor they would come to a rally and see what people are saying. racism has NOTHING to do with the movement. But again since these cranks are losing their message they will use the only tool left to minimize the Tea party movement: race. It is not working. It is dishonest. The ignorance the left displays is pathetic.

One more time for the dense amongst the far left loons: It is about limited government. Fiscal conservatism. Rejection of serfdom. Rule of law. Constitutional adherence.

This really pisses me off because it has nothing to do about race. It has everything to do with the left losing their policy message and trying to marginalize those that disagree with them. It’s not working so the attacks will get worse leading up to their (hopefully) demise in November.

Update: Gateway Pundit via Show Me Progress reports that Democrat Rep Sheila Jackson Lee continues the vile accusations of the millions in the Tea Party as KKK members. She suggests:

All those who wore sheets a long time ago have now lifted them off and started wearing [applause], uh, clothing, uh, with a name, say, I am part of the tea party.

You race baiting people are pathetic, completely dishonest and a disgrace to the Constitution that you swore to uphold.

The public servants we elect who also have access to spend the money collected from our taxes are bankrupting our country. Some countries like Britain and Germany are putting the brakes on spending. The U.S. on the other hand, believes we haven’t done enough in the name of Keynesian economics. Of course it’s more about transforming the country into a socialist country than about creating wealth and jobs.

I had to laugh at Nancy Pelosi’s idiotic comment the other day about unemployment benefits being a job creator. FoxNews reported:

Unemployment benefits are creating jobs faster than practically any other program, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday. “It injects demand into the economy,” Pelosi said, arguing that when families have money to spend it keeps the economy churning. “It creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name.”

Is it any wonder that our country is in decline? How can someone like this get elected? How can she be so ignorant on economics? Has her push to get us socialized demented her mind?

This is statist thinking and one that I believe is permeating much faster in this country than we could believe. There is a rise for fiscal responsibility and Constitutional adherence as seen in the Tea Parties, but the social welfare proponents are going to continue to drag this country down.

The kids growing up and attending imperial government schools are being taught less about liberty and self-reliance and more about what the government can do for them. Take the time to read comments the under 25 year olds say on the various opinion blogs. In general, they truly believe that government is the answer. They admire Maxists and Communists. They are far more interested in identifying with Che than George Washington. They admire Mao. They like social welfare. It is scary that they have never properly learned the history of these killing regimes. We may turn the tide in November to more conservative leadership but I fear it will be short lived. The momentum is for statist rule in this country. For some reason the majority of the people in this country favor government controlling their lives. I believe it has to do because they are afraid for their future. The government chokes the future with their spending and control, which further scares people into despair thereby creating reliance on the government. It’s a circle jerk that only benefits those in power. And the lazy.

Bill Bonner talked about the debt in yesterday’s Daily Reckoning. He has it nailed in an aptly titled piece called Gold and Goverment Debt: The Only Two Things Going Up:

Yesterday, a film crew caught up with us on the banks of the Thames and posed the question:

“What’s the big deal about debt? The US had as much debt after WWII. The next years were among the best the country ever had…”

We sat at a sidewalk eatery near the river, with a camera focused on us. People walked by and stared. They figured we must be somebody. They looked disappointed when they couldn’t place us.

“The big deal is that we’re going broke,” we explained. “Until very recently debts of this magnitude were always associated with war. From time to time countries went broke. But they almost always did so because of emergency expenses driven by war. In other words, they were spending money for what looked like a very good reason – self preservation.

“For the first time in history, almost all the developed nations of the world are running regular, structural deficits. They’re going deeper and deeper into debt, as though there were a war…but there is no war.

“We have emergency budgets, but no emergency. You may think that they are fighting the emergency of a recession or the threat of a depression, but you would be wrong. Most of the deficits have little to do with stimulus or bailout efforts. They are just the ordinary results of social welfare programs that have gotten out of control.

“For the first time ever, countries are going broke just in the normal course of business. Without an emergency.

“The nice thing about WWII is that it came to an end. But there is no victory in the fight against old age. The pension burden won’t go down. It will go up. There is no VE day for national health programs. There are no tickertape parades…the troops are never de-mobilized and sent home…and the spending never goes down.

“We can never pay off the debt, in other words, because the debt never stops growing.

“National leaders at the G-20 conference over the weekend pledged to bring their deficits under control. Some governments are taking this seriously. The government of Britain, under David Cameron, seems to have the right idea. But we are still waiting to see what happens next.

“The modern welfare state was only invented about 150 years ago. The Romans tried it and it didn’t work out very well. The modern version is still an experiment.

“And currently, in America, there are more people getting money from the government than there are people paying taxes. Forty million people get food stamps. Millions more depend on federal tax credits and so forth. Still others have jobs that are either paid directly by the government or by a contractor for the government.

“All these people have the right to vote. Which is a shame. Because they are likely to vote for more social welfare spending. Then, governments will go broke. “

I believe that over time people, and in particular the young today, will favor more social welfare spending. It will destroy this country. I am not sure what we are going to be left with. I am not so sure that the under 25 people will not be the final nail in the great experiment that is/was the United States. Their mistrust and mostly hate of capitalism and a curious desire for socialism and glamorizing Marxism will surely destroy us. And we have Pelosi, Reid, Obama and their ilk leading these children to their promise land. November 2010 will be fun but I fear it will not be enough.

Rep. Pete Stark is an arrogant jerk. I cannot believe that Americans have let people like this remain in position of public servitude. The arrogance and disdain that the Democrats have for Americans that do not share their views is unconscionable. They showed their dishonorable actions last summer during multiple town hall meetings and Stark and Bob “who are you” Etheridge have shown in recent weeks how little they think of the people they serve.

Americans do not deserve this kind of attitude from public servants but we are to blame for allowing them to be voted in. For years we have taken our privilege of voting for granted and never paid attention to the results. Fortunately it looks like we have finally woken up and are ready to take action, which I think is why you are seeing these pompous and arrogant public servants show what they are really all about. I hope patriots across the country will step up and vote honorable people into the offices to serve them.

It is incredible to me that people like Stark and Etheridge can treat the people they serve with such disdain and mockery. It is appalling. We have to remind who these people work for in the future. Americans and those voted into office may disagree but their is no excuse on either side to insult, belittle and talk down to the other. In particular those in public office should have more honor about their position and be more professional. Pete Stark is a disgrace to his office. He is an insult to the people he represents. But it is appalling that people in California have continued to vote this man into office for over 30 years.

Pete Stark is the same public servant who told a man in a town hall meeting last summer that he “wouldn’t dignify you by peeing on your leg”. Quite a comment from a man holding a public office that is sworn to defend the Constitution. Well he was at it again at a meeting with Minutemen. His sarcasm and disdain was on full display.

This is what we expect from Marxists and tyrants. Arrogance and mockery. This is not America. If you want this kind of leadership then head south beyond the border or flee to the socialist countries elsewhere. This shit has no place in America.

Let’s point out more stupidity from the federal government. No, I’m not talking about the debacle and criminal lack of competence in the Gulf oil leak and a cleanup. That is a given. What I am talking about is our government’s lack of interest in pushing for a much cleaner form of energy that can easily replace oil: natural gas. We import billions of dollars of the oil from countries that are not exactly our friends. Conversely we have enough domestic supplies of natural gas to supply ourselves with energy for many generations into the future. Natural gas is clean and is really the only thing that can realistically replace oil. Incredibly the president and congress have no interest in investing in the stuff.

Jim Cramer on CNBC has been pounding the table for a couple of years now that nat gas is a viable alternative to high oil prices and supply issues. Others have joined him yet the administration, as usual, turns a deaf ear to the obvious. Cramer, always looking for investments, suggests that nat gas exports will rise for this country as every other country in the world will need natural gas. We won’t be using our own resources but other countries will be happy to. From Jim Cramer’s Mad Money via Mad Money Recap:

I have been on a crusade to get the United States to embrace natural gas… the best way to cut carbon emissions… create hundreds of thousands of good paying jobs… reduce our dependence on foreign oil…no one is listening… we have so much of this fuel that it is ridiculous… we exceed Saudi Arabia on this stuff… with a heck of lot better human rights record, by the way… I have said that it is the obvious solution to all but Washington… all of our cleaner energy needs… and unlike wind or solar, it is actually viable in the near term… you plug in a car like a Tessa, which you should be selling, goes into a coal based system… that won’t work… we already have a huge working distribution network built out for natural gas.
Plus, drilling for natural gas is never going to cause the kind of ecological catastrophe that we are seeing right now with BP’s oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico… or the slag that we get off of coal… which everyone knows about but no one talks about… I said that we could use this fuel to run our cars and trucks… and to replace dirtier sources of energy, like coal, at our power plants in the United States… or at least that is what I thought.

But our government… uh-uh, and while our government has turned a deaf ear to arguments for natural gas… do you know what? The rest of the world has not… we may not want all of this natural gas goodness… but just about every other country seems to be seeing things my way… they thirst for the stuff… that is why I have arrived at a Eureka Moment!… we are within this decade become a huge natural gas exporter… I think the largest in the world… because it is now economical to export it to the rest of the world.

…I know that it is crazy… but as we crave dirty oil and import tens of billions of dollars worth of it annually… much from countries that despise us… we will most likely shortly become the worlds largest exporter of the cleaner and better fuel… ladies and gents, you just cannot make this stuff up.

So let me get this straight. I come to work everyday to make sure I earn the money to support my family and pay my mortgage. All the while the government has given, and is giving, home loans to people who can’t afford it and won’t make the payments. So now the government is asking taxpayers to bail out the very entities that hold these loans. So in effect they are going to transfer my wealth to someone/something else because the government thought is everybody is entitled to a home. Thank you very much Barney Frank. You and your liberal cronies who created this housing mess are a disgrace. More goodness from CNBC:

For American taxpayers, now on the hook for some $145 billion in housing losses connected to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans, that amount could be just the tip of the iceberg.

According to the Congressional Budget Office, the losses could balloon to $400 billion. And if housing prices fall further, the cost to the taxpayer could hit as much as $1 trillion.

Two things are clear: Taxpayers don’t want to foot the bill, and Fannie and Freddie, taken over by the government in 2008 to stanch the financial bloodletting, need a major overhaul.

“Some of us who don’t even own homes are paying to support others and their home ownership, and they ask ‘why?’ said Robert J. Shiller, a Yale University economics professor and co-creator of the S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices.
