House Call Draws Big Crowds at Capital to Protest Nancy Pelosi’s Health Care Plan
The Tea Party movement continues to prove that the country has awakened. Despite the left dismissing the protesters time time again they are letting their voices be heard today at the nation’s capital. Unfortunately I was not able to more than lend support. I attended the 9/12 rally in D.C. but this one was simply more than I could bite off in short notice due to a very important family obligation tonight.
I’m happy the support is there. And it seems the Republicans are rallying around the protesters en masse as well. Some Twitter remarks suggested that just about all if not all Republican house members are standing outside the capital and rallying the crowds.
Pelosi is still going to ram this thing down our throats. Her minions will follow her right off the cliff. The arrogance of these people is astonishing. They aren’t listening. Even after today I still expect the vote in the House to go for the bill. That’s fine. The Tea Party movement is almost a year old. It still resonates. It’s growing. It’s angrier. Stronger. More motivated. They pass this garbage at their own political peril.
