I Thought Health Care Reform Was Supposed to Give You More For Your Money

Democrat leaders in Congress are destroying our health care system. I thought health care reform was supposed to make everyone’s health care costs lower. I thought it was supposed to make the care better. NOTHING that I have seen proposed does any of this. Sure we get a bunch more folks covered but at quite an expense.

The government is going to penalize you for not buying something. That is going to be challenged in the Supreme Court one day as it is completely unconstitutional. I realize that many in Congress do not care about the constitution and continue to ignore the framework as they craft laws. But when are we going to stand up for our freedoms and liberties? The entitlement mentality is destroying this country.

I thought the idea was to get the uninsured health care options. The AP reports:

Most of the uninsured will be covered, but not all. As many as 24 million people would remain uninsured in 2019…

That’s a fail.

I thought the health care reform would make health care affordable for all. The AP reports:

….a middle-class family of four making $66,000 would still have to pay about 10 percent of its income in premiums, not counting co-payments and deductibles.

That’s another fail. $6,000 a year for health care? Hell, man, I can get that coverage today without the country sinking further into debt, creating bloating bureaucracy and pissing on the constitution.

How can they expect hospitals and providers not to get paid and make money for their services? Are we simply going to create socialized hospitals. Is that where these shithead Progressives want to take this? The AP reports:

(other)… financing would come mainly from cuts in federal payments to insurers, hospitals, home health care agencies and other medical providers serving Medicare.

Hell, these places will simply stop taking Medicare. More failure.

The plan basically sets up private options like the Congress gets today through the federal system. Sounds great until you realize that it’s no reform either. AP reports:

…the federal employee health benefits plan isn’t looking all that great these days. Federal workers do have a wide choice of insurance plans, but they’re looking at hefty premium increases next year. Individual coverage under the most popular plan is going up 15 percent.

Failure again.

We have a bunch of Progressive imbeciles running the country. They have to be voted out. Every single one. RINO’s too. The radical liberal experiment is a fail. Time to get back to liberty, freedom, constitutional adherence and limited government. 2010 is going to be an interesting year for these Marxists in denial.
