How out of touch is our government? In 1802 Our government negotiated the purchase of the Louisiana Territory for $15 million dollars. In today’s money that comes out to about $284 million.
This weekend Harry Reid bought off Louisiana to get the vote needed to advance the health care fraud on Americans to the tune of $300 million.
Mary Landrieu reveled in the payout. She corrected the number in the press from $100 million to $300 million.
In most worlds that would be called a bribe and subject to felony charges. In our government that is business as usual. When exactly are Americans going to wake the eff up and put an end to this shit?
