Obama is Outsourcing the Presidency
Back during the presidential campaign I complained daily that I thought Barrack Obama was not qualified to be the President of the United States. I simply looked at his record and wondered how anyone could thing he had the right credentials to be President. The attacks on Sarah Palin were made (hey did anyone catch O’Reilly last night? Our good friend Matthew Littman was on insulting the former governor yet again) by the left saying that she wasn’t even qualified to be VP despite a resume that included being a Mayor and Governor.
Today we are suffering (in part and depending on how you look at it of course) from his lack of leadership. His lack of leadership know-how. Wonder why all the czars have been employed? These are who Obama has outsourced his leadership to. Every President (since Nixon?) has had a couple of these folks sitting around Washington doing whatever (sad to think) but it is Obama who has radically changed how these people operate.
The only way he knows how to govern is through community organization. I can grudgingly respect that he is attempting to reach out and let other people work on his agenda. The problem of course is he is only happy to work with you as long as you share his ideas. Pathetically many wonder if it is Nancy Pelosi and the various other asshats in the Congress that are really running things.
Obama is a likable guy. I remember standing in the breakroom at work during the Inauguration thinking this might work out OK. I thought he came across as a centrist during the campaign which, of course, was really just wishful thinking. Looking back he said all the Progressive things that let you know he was not going to be your garden variety Democrat. But there was hope. I wanted to like this guy.
Now I see a man that does not know how to lead. Yes I realize that Progressives could never admit as much. But show me how he has led. He doesn’t even have but a vague notion of what he wants for healthcare. He can’t even articulate what he wants. His townhall meetings are just another extension of his campaign. At some point he has to stop being a campaign robot and actually get down to running the country as our leader. Polls show he is fast losing credibility and I think part of it is policy and the other part is he just doesn’t know what he’s doing. I think he has resorted to outsourcing the Office of the Presidency.
