But, that is the liberal mindset. Symbolism or substance. Good intentions as the measurement of results not actual progress.. We are heading toward a very different type of mindset among voters. If they ever get anything that resembles Universal Health Care - then maybe people will wake up. There has to be a dramatic sea change of social awareness in order for people to get their mind right at the voting box. He is just too popular right now. I think the "slow drip" of the economy, (if the bad news stays the same) and his lack of progress in Afghanistan will start to bring his popularity down to an earthly level. The Afghan war could be his Vietnam. There are some cracks starting to from, but they are just small holes in the dam right now. For now however, "the one we have been waiting for" Barry O'Bama, is going to put gas in their cars and make their mortgage payments...
