President Obama Needs Your Help to Spend Your $3.6 Trillion Dollars
President Obama needs your help to get his massive budget of $3.6 trillion dollars passed.
In a new Web video, President Barack Obama is asking Americans to help him pass his $3.6 trillion budget. “I’m asking you to head outside this Saturday to knock on some doors, talk to some neighbors, and let them know how important this budget is to our future,” he said in the video. Obama said his budget will “lay a foundation for lasting growth and prosperity,” by investing in health care, education and renewable energy.
I can tell you I will not be supporting the rape and pillage of future generations by supporting the borrowing of the money and the taxation that will occur, to pay for this. I will call my representative and tell him not to support it despite knowing he will support Obama. I will tell anyone I know not to support this budget. I will be a voice of “no”.
I believe we need health care, education and energy reforms.
I don’t think laying the groundwork for nationalized or socialized medicine to be the best route to take. I deplore that option.Until a better plan is proposed that doesn’t smell like nationalization I won’t be supporting the money to be spent on health care.
I think we’ve spent enough on education. Yes, enough. We throw billions at the public education system and it’s gotten us nowhere. Time for real change in that mess.
Maybe it would be good to simply have a plan for energy before we throw money at it. Look where it got us with the bank bailouts.
Are these people simply nuts? Haven’t we heard from every talking stiff in his administration about “inheriting” a deficit and burgeoning debt? Is the answer really to triple it? Does anyone understand that we cannot afford this? And it matters!?!?
