Sarah Palin Bashing Continues – The Left is Scared of Her and What She Stands For
CNN blogger Jack Cafferty continues to encourage the bashing of Sara Palin. It simply never ends. What exactly are they afraid of? The comments on his blog are filled with people insulting this woman. Apparently Rush Limbaugh champions Palin as the voice of conservatism. This brings out the haters in full force.
For one, they hate Rush. He has a big voice. He has an enormous reach. The left have all the major media outlets including TV and newspapers. The conservatives have talk radio. Why is that a problem for liberals? What are they afraid of? Rush speaks to his audience.
Secondly, the left is so completely scared of Palin. The energy she brought the party almost cost the Progressives the election. If not for a full-force frontal assault on her competency by the media that even Obama wouldn’t have withstood, she and McCain (ack) would have won.
This is a women that should be championed by feminist groups and women’s organizations. She has risen through the ranks of politics as no other woman has. Yet she is vilified because she is conservative.
The left is scared of Palin because she is a unifying force. It’s much easier for the blog wonks to parrot what their masters want them to say. That she is incompetent. That she is stupid. The fact is she is not. That scares the left. The left wants to keep the right fragmented. If they can focus the public’s perception to Rush Limbaugh or other right side talking heads, all the better. But they realize they have to continue to bash Palin because they are scared.
If you ask people why they hate Palin, specifically, they have no answer. What, one bad interview with CBS? Did you even see it? Why do you hate Rush specifically? “He’s a hate-moger.” Really? Specifically how?
People on these blogs simply hate without reason. They parrot the same party line that Palin is incompetent or stupid or various other insults. I think the left is scared of someone like her. She energizes the right as much as Obama energizes the left. The left hopes to keep the right reeling. The right has many problems. The voice of conservatism is with talk radio. There are no leaders on the right to combat Obama. But then again, if there were no Obama the left would be sucking just as bad. Who do they have? Clinton? She’s a loser. Barney Frank? Harry Reid? Pelosi? They are all unelectable outside of their districts.
Personally I want a new party. I want to be governed from people who are fiscally responsible, adhere to the constitution and believe in liberty and personal freedoms. The GOP and Progresives are destroying the liberities, values and principles that this country was founded on.
The Republican party is struggling. No doubt. But that is because they no longer believe in small government, low taxes, liberty, personal responsibility and fiscal responsibility. We do not need two parties that hammer that message. We’ve had it since 1990. What the left and right do not get is that a new sensation is bubbling up. Independent thinkers from the left and right, who don’t belive in the party line anymore. This is what both parties should be afraid of. It just so happens that the right is latching onto to this thinking since the arrogance of the left discount it as meaningless.
Sadly many people were fooled into thinking Obama stood for this type of change when he was elected. Now we have an America being governed by people who have no interest in the rule of law. They do not care for the foundation set forth by the Founders. They do not believe in State’s rights. They believe in federal government imperialism. They have the votes because Americans have been seduced into an entitlement state. The left and right feed off of providing for their voters so they can remain in power.
Government power needs to be reeled in from D.C. and returned to the states, counties and cities.
