Sarah Palin Resigns as Governor – Haters Rallying Quickly
Sarah Palin resigns as governor of Alaska. And the haters have taken to the Social wires to offer their take on the subject. It’s just sickening to hear fellow Americans tear down someone like this. It’s no wonder she said she’d had enough. These kids on Twitter, and the like, are mouthing off on something they have no clue about. Ask people why they don’t like Sarah Palin and they don’t know. They mumble something about her being stupid. How is she stupid? She doesn’t have experience. But isn’t she governor? Yea, but it’s just Alaska. But Obama didn’t have executive experience with anything did he? Um, well…
The woman said she didn’t want to run for re-election. She is stating that she has no interest in being a lame duck governor. If she does decide to run for the White House in 2012, and I’d say that is a big if, this will give her time to visit the rest of the country without ignoring her gubernatorial responsibilities. I admire her for taking this risk. It’s a fairly spunky and forthright move. I also wonder if she is trying to take a break from the incredible attacks from the press, which a lot of the bloggers and Twits love to parrot. Check out these pathetic statements from these low-rate commentators on Twitter:
Politricks: Please, God. Please let Sarah Palin be resigning for some ridiculous, scandalous reason. Maybe an affair? Oh how lovely it would be…
EvertB: Sarah Palin is her own worst enemy, and too stupid to see it. Ah, the irony of incompetence…
jessicafancy: That will not get in the way of me wishing bad things on people for no apparent reason. Sarah Palin – I hope you get tongue cancer
(Wow, wonder how she would feel if someone said the same about her mom/dad/sister/brother)
dan_hughes: I hope Sarah Palin realizes that without a job, Rent-A-Center are gonna take away her trailer.
(Hilarious. This guy is soooo funny)
Yep, this is what we’ve become in America. No insult is off limits. No amount of success is respected if the ideology isn’t like your own. I wonder if anyone that is making comments on her resignation so vile have actually listened to her resignation speech. It is truly pathetic what we’ve become.
Seems to me this is a woman that does what the hell she wants. She’s not a political robot. I admire her independence. So what if the left and right think resigning is a bad idea. She has her reasons and she leaves the office successful. The personal destruction she has had to deal with has been ridiculous. I’m glad she is getting out of the crosshairs for awhile. She said her staff has had to deal with too much on the political attacks and not enough on state affairs. She said “it’s pretty insane”. Indeed.
Will I vote for her in 2012? I dunno. I will take stock of all the candidates that is for:
- fiscal responsibility
- small government
- free market capitalism
- individual liberty
- low taxes
I know that Palin stands for those ideals. Let’s see if any other candidates step up and embrace those principles. Whether they are a Dem, Repub or Indy, I really don’t care. The person I vote for has to be for those ideals.
