Senator Shumer Calls CBO Health Care Numbers Wacky
Senator Shumer is one of the smartest guys in Congress. It pains me to say as much but the man is a smart guy. He is also a huge part of the problem we have with our government. His liberal thinking is what continues to destroy our economy.
Being one of the desperate Progressives trying to summon up the votes to rush health care legislation out for the President’s signature, he dismisses the Congressional Budget Office as saying that passage of this legislation would in fact cause health care costs to rise. Why, the libs have no interest in hearing that noise. Here is a moronic quote from a mostly intelligent human being:
“CBO’s scoring is a little bit wacky,” Schumer said of the nonpartisan agency’s estimates. “They are not quite fair because they don’t measure the cost savings down the road, just the immediate spending.”
Where to start. First we SHOULD be concerned about the immediate spending. He seems to brush the cost aside. Why? Because it doesn’t measure savings down the road. Are you freaking kidding me? When has the government ever saved anything? When have they ever contributed to cost savings?
Shumer. Dude. I know you and the other Progressive elites think that the vast majority of Americans are stupid, but we aren’t. We have zero faith that government can do anything but bungle things up, continue the corruption and spend more money than we can afford. There will be no cost savings. Listen to the CNBO. I realize that it doesn’t fit your agenda but for once, for eff sake, listen to something other than your ideology.
We do not believe in Congress. For you to say that the CBO is not taking into account savings from preventive care and efficiencies in the system is ridiculous. When has the government ever been efficient? I know, I know, you think government can solve every problem and it is only to be blamed when the Republicans do something that goes against your ideology. Sorry you both suck. Virtually all of you. Both houses of Congress. You are burning this country down with incompetency.
