So Far Dems are Liars About Transparency
In their rush to zip this spending bill through Congress and get it on the desk for the President to sign, no one had a chance to actually read the damn thing. Over 1,000 completed pages. The Democrats promised at least 48 hours for people to read it. If the bill was so spectacular, don’t you think that they would be proud for people to take a couple of days and read through it? No, Congress has a three day weekend to enjoy. Some elite members have a government subsidized trip with their family, security and aids to Europe. There is no time for transparency. Lets rush this piece of shit through so no one can have a chance to change their mind and not vote on it.
John Boehner from Ohio has finally grown a pair and is acting like a leader on the hill. His speech regarding the lard package and his response is quite entertaining. Grandstanding on the Congressional floor at its finest, but entertaining nonetheless. Throw that piece of garbage on the floor where it belongs!
I don’t know why anyone expected bipartisanship in Congress. Obama may desire it becasue it would have made his administration over the next four years smoother, but there is no way Reid and Pelosi and their flying monkeys are going to work with republicans that have differences of opinions. They believe that government intervention is the only way. Only now has the republicans fought against that. I wish they had stood up for this the last eight years as well. Better late than never and it’s good that they are returning to their core values.
