Your Government’s Wish List Grows Along With the Cost
How much more of your money are you willing to let your government spend? Seriously. If this wasn’t so serious it would be a comedy. Each day there are reports of more budgets getting proposed. Lawmakers talk about TARP II. Spending plan II. They want to pay for health care. They want to continue drowning us in earmarks. It has to end somewhere. Never did I expect that the Democrats would damage this country like this.
Spending this year will total $3.94 trillion dollars. President Obama is proposing a budget of $3.55 trillion dollars in 2010. Laying the groundwork for universal health care is going to cost you $634 billion. Holy shit! Seriously? And that’s just the foundation? How many trillions is that going to cost us in the future? There is not enough rich people to tax to pay for this mess!
I thought the problem we were in was jobs. Jobs, jobs, jobs. It was all we heard about as they rammed their spending plan down our throats. Full of pork no less. Then we get a look at the Democrats omnibus spending bill and it is loaded with pork. Over 9,000 earmarks. From both sides! It is going to cost you $410 billion.
We are in a financial crisis and these clowns in D.C. are playing monopoly with your money. For god’s sake. Please. Vote these people out in 2010.
There is responsible spending, which we need. And there is irresponsible, shameful and selfish spending which what the Democrats are doing. The people representing you are failing you. Take a close look at how they vote. See what their pet projects are. Now is not the time to study tattoo removal and save a freakin’ mouse. It is time to get your neighbor back to work. To save you retirement account. To keep your house. Very little of what these people are proposing is a direct injection of the medicine needed to treat this financial crisis.
